Interact Clubs are Rotary-sponsored service clubs for young people ages 12-18, which gives young people an opportunity to participate in fun, meaningful service projects while developing leadership skills and the opportunity to meet new friends.
Through service activities, Interactors learn the importance of:
- Developing leadership skills and personal integrity;
- Demonstrating helpfulness and respect for others; and
- Advancing international understanding and goodwill.
The Vineland Rotary Club sponsors six Interact Clubs located at Vineland High School, The Tri County Community Interact Club, the Ellison School, St. Augustine Prep, Anthony Rossi Intermediate School, AP Schalick High School Interact Club, which is co-sponsored with the Bridgeton Breakfast Club and CCTech Interact Club co-sponsored with Port Norris Rotary .
The Vineland High School Interact Club meets every Monday during the school year at the South Campus, West Cafeteria from 2:15pm to 3:10pm. Rotary Club Faculty Advisers, Conor O’Grady and Miriam Jamil.
The Tri County Community Interact Club meets every other Thursday (2 times a month) during the school year at the YMCA. Meetings start at 7:15pm to 8:15pm. Vineland Rotary club advisors are Tina Ritondaro and Dong Choo.
The Ellison School Interact Club meets 2 times a month during the school year. Meetings start at 3:15pn to 4:00pm every other Thursday. Faculty Adviser Samantha Mulligan.
The Anthony Rossi Intermediate School meets every Tuesday during the school year from 3:15pm to 4:15pm. Rotary Club Adviser Kevin Bernhardt, Faculty Adviser Mona Mauro, Interact Student Adviser Meranda Cardona.
The A.P. Schalick High School Interact Club meets every other Tuesday from 2;00pm to 2:30pm. Rotary Club Advisers, Robert Spence (Bridgeton Breakfast Club).
CCTEC Interact Club meets 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month during the “SMART” period. The time frame is from 10:45am – 11:15pm at the Tec Center (Co-Sponsored with Port Norris Rotary)
