CUMBERLAND COUNTY'S GOT TALENT!
The Vineland Rotary Club was in search for the hottest variety and novelty acts throughout Cumberland County and they found them! Over 25 Individuals and groups participated in the first Vineland Rotary Club Talent Show held at the Centerton Country Club in April. There were singers, dancers, movie directors/writers, karate demo, and a fiddle player just to name a few, all with outstanding performances. The smooth jazz band "Zoe" walked away with the top prize and the "Peoples Choice" award. Francesca Chappius placed second with a tune from the musical, "The Last Five Years" and Javier Rodriquez and Luis Saurez placed third with a "Street Dance" performance.
The night ended with the debut performance of the band "Train Wreck", comprised of Vineland Rotary Club members performing Van Halen's "You Really Got Me". Proceeds from the Vineland Rotary's first talent show will help fund various charities the club supports throughout the year.
