In a milestone event for the Rotary Club of Vineland, the ever-growing service organization inducted its first corporate members at a recent weekly membership luncheon.

Media pioneer SNJ Today and dynamic auto dealership South Jersey Motor Trends were welcomed by the membership in a special installation ceremony.

The club continues to add active and civically engaged members, both individual and corporate. The local Rotary is widely recognized for its dedication to many and varied service projects such as Helping Hands and Feeding the Children. The club’s generosity helps more than a dozen charitable organizations and provides several college scholarships.

“We are very excited to move forward expanding into corporate memberships,” said Rotary President Maureen Simmons, who officiated the installation ceremony. “We will be reaching out to the many leading businesses in the community which believe in the goals of Rotary.”

SNJ Today presents positive news to greater Cumberland County through newspaper, Internet, cable television, and radio. Its primary Rotary member is President Ken Pustizzi, Jr. The alternate members are Operations Manager John Salvatore and Sales Coordinator Yamira Velez.

Tara Martinez, an owner of the business, represents South Jersey Motor Trends. She helps lead a community-oriented staff with a combined 120 years experience in vehicle sales, financing and service.

At a time when some organizations have declining memberships, Rotary of Vineland continues to set a pace for growth in Rotary District 7505, which encompasses a wide area of the state.

Rotarians provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world under the motto “Service Above Self.”

Rotary is an international organization of more than 1.2 million business, professional, and community leaders. There are 33,000 Rotary Clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas. Clubs are nonpolitical, nonreligious, and open to all cultures, races, and creeds.

The Vineland organization meets on Tuesdays at 12:10 p.m. at Ramada Vineland. For information on corporate or individual memberships, contact Membership Chair Ed Morvay at info@rotaryvineland.com
